New shipment of modules with destination Russia

During last week in the Port of Gijón we loaded aboard the BBC Moonstone 6 convection modules with destination Kingisepp, Russia.

The total weight of the modules is 840 tonnes and the volume is 2400 m3. The two powerful 400mT cranes available on the ship were used for loading the material on board.

The convection modules will be installed in an ammonia plant.

Delfin Tubes has received support from the European Union, through the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) and the Principality of Asturias, through IDEPA, for the realization of an R & D Project that allowed the development of a new Technique for the production of welded tubes by laser welding, and the subsequent surface treatment thereof. This project allows Delfin Tubes to offer to the market an improved product in terms of thermal efficiency and resistance to corrosion, thanks to the reduction of the fin pitch, the use of new materials and the application of innovative coatings. In short, offering new advantages and alternatives to the industry thanks to the use of state-of-the-art laser technology, which takes this product to higher levels of quality than any existing manufacturing process.
